I have known that I wanted to be a dentist since I was a child. My father is a dentist and I grew up watching the care he showed his patients. I am dedicated to providing the best possible care and experience to my patients as my father did for his. I am passionate about dentistry and take great joy in changing a patient's feelings about going to the dentist. The best part of my job is hearing from my patients that they were very anxious to come to the dentist and now they don't worry about it at all. I especially enjoy helping children learn that a visit to the dentist can be fun, not scary.
The best compliment I have ever received (and I hear it regularly) is that a patient has fallen asleep while in my chair. Every time I hear that, I know I am providing the best possible pain-free care for my patients. I am always available to my patients after-hours on my cell phone in order to answer any questions about their care.
Education and Continuing Education
I am constantly looking to update my knowledge and continue my education to ensure my patients receive the very best, attending seminars and classes on Invisalign® and full-mouth reconstruction.
In the Community
I support many of our local school sports teams. My family and I love living in Alaska and are happy to be a part of our community. I volunteer at many area schools during dental health month, area health fairs, and as a basketball coach. I read books at a local school for Dr. Seuss day each year and I have been coaching basketball for local youth for the past three years.
Outside the Office
I am originally from Higgins Lake, MI and moved from Oregon to Wasilla with my wife and our two children in 2010. I enjoy spending more time with my wife and family. When I'm not in the office, I enjoy bee keeping, gardening, cribbage, camping with my family, playing basketball, coaching basketball and, of course, fishing.
